Role: High School Chemistry Teacher

As an HS Chemistry Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement an engaging chemistry curriculum aligned with the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and AISK’s academic standards.
• Foster a student-centered learning environment that promotes critical thinking, inquiry, and hands-on experimentation.
• Use modern teaching strategies and technology to enhance student understanding.
• Guide students through lab experiments, research projects, and real-world scientific applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to improve curriculum development and student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate regularly with parents and school leadership.
• Support extracurricular science activities, including clubs, fairs, and academic competitions.
• Participate in professional development programs to stay updated on best practices in science education.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Valid teaching licensure or certification
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• IB Diploma Programme (DP) experience required for DP courses
• Strong classroom management skills
• International teaching experience preferred
