Role Overview
The High School PE Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging physical education classes that promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The role involves coaching athletics, organizing extracurricular activities, and helping students develop lifelong skills for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons for high school students
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship through sports and activities
- Coach athletic teams and organize after-school sports programs
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to encourage growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a well-rounded student experience
- Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance PE learning
- Support school events, trips, and extracurricular activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, ideally in an international setting
- Strong subject knowledge in physical education and sports science
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Christian education and community values
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse students in a multicultural school
