Role: High School Physics Teacher
The High School Physics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous lessons that develop students’ scientific thinking, problem-solving abilities, and curiosity about the natural world. You will design and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB curriculum, assess student progress, and contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote STEM education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to senior high school students, including IB Diploma-level classes
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and experimentation
- Use differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning
- Participate in school events, professional learning communities, and extracurricular activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, IB certification preferred)
- Experience teaching Physics at the secondary or IB Diploma level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching practices
