Role Overview: History Teacher

As a Middle and High School History Teacher, you will:

• Model Christian values in attitude, speech, and actions, fostering a faith-centered classroom.
• Deliver engaging history lessons that promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and a deeper understanding of global events.
• Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s academic objectives and Christian philosophy.
• Foster a positive, student-centered learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
• Integrate biblical principles into the curriculum while maintaining academic rigor.
• Support students with Individualized Educational Programs (IEP) in collaboration with the Special Education Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, assignments, and assessments.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies focused on positive reinforcement.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• A committed Christian with a strong personal testimony.
• A bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 1-2 years of teaching experience (preferred).
• A valid teaching license (preferred).
• A passion for mentoring students and fostering their intellectual and spiritual growth.
