Position: Humanities Teacher (Geography & History) – Middle & High School

As a Humanities Teacher, you will help students develop a deeper understanding of world history, geography, and cultures, encouraging them to think critically about global issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography and History in alignment with the US Common Core Standards
• Develop engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster critical thinking and research skills
• Utilize interactive technology and project-based learning to enhance student engagement
• Encourage analytical discussions on historical events, geographic trends, and current affairs
• Assess student progress through meaningful evaluations and feedback
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate interdisciplinary teaching strategies

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in History, Geography, Humanities, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Middle and High School Humanities
• Strong knowledge of the US Common Core Social Studies Standards
