About the Role

As a Teacher of Humanities, you will have the opportunity to engage students with interactive lessons, develop their understanding of Geography and History, and help them achieve their best academic potential. You will also encourage students to analyze global events, think critically, and develop research skills essential for their future studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography and History lessons up to GCSE and A-Level.
• Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Use modern teaching methodologies and technology to enhance lessons.
• Develop lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and academic goals.
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and debate to deepen students’ understanding of historical and geographical concepts.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Geography, History, Humanities, or a related discipline).
• A recognized teaching license or certification.
• A proven track record of successfully teaching Humanities subjects.
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level students is preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for engaging students with interactive and inquiry-based learning methods.
