OVERVIEW-PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The IB Biology and Environmental Systems and Society (ESS) Teacher delivers a rigorous science curriculum that prepares students for IB assessments and fosters scientific reasoning and inquiry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach integrated science, IB Biology, and/or Environmental Systems and Society.
• Plan and deliver lessons that encourage scientific inquiry and problem-solving.
• Guide students in scientific research and preparation for IB assessments.
• Foster mentoring relationships with students and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong foundation in biology and environmental science.
• Ability to engage students in scientific reasoning and experiential learning.
• Familiarity with IB assessment and instructional standards.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience teaching IB Science courses.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with international school settings.
