Role Overview
As an IB Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of living systems, ecological interactions, and molecular biology. You will guide inquiry-based projects, promote scientific curiosity, and help students excel in the IB Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IB Biology with a focus on inquiry-based learning and experimentation
- Develop lesson plans that inspire curiosity and academic growth
- Assess student progress using diverse evaluation methods
- Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the science curriculum
- Maintain regular communication with parents and the school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least three years of teaching experience, preferably with IB curriculum
- Strong subject expertise and classroom management skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Commitment to continuous professional development
