Role Overview: IB DP English Teacher
As an IB Diploma Programme English Teacher, you will lead students in developing advanced literacy, analytical writing, and literary interpretation skills. Through a rigorous and student-focused curriculum, you will guide learners to think deeply, express ideas clearly, and engage meaningfully with global literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English instruction aligned with IB DP standards
- Create a supportive, intellectually challenging classroom environment
- Design units and assessments that promote inquiry, discussion, and analysis
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic development
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning where appropriate

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school setting
- Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme and its assessment standards
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, reflective, and committed to continuous professional growth
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and team members
- Confidence in using educational technology to enhance learning
