The International School of Budapest International Bilingual Primary and Secondary School is one of the largest private English-Hungarian bilingual international schools in Budapest. We provide international education in a caring environment to children between 5 and 18 years of age, covering preparatory, primary and secondary school education.

In ISB’s preparatory grade, education corresponding to Hungarian kindergartens takes place. Children under the age of six are educated in accordance with this program. Children over the age of six may participate in preparatory education only with the expert opinion of the Committee of Experts or with the permission of the Education Office.

The International School of Budapest is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IB Mathematics Teacher (Analysis and Approaches HL & Applications and Interpretation HL) and IGCSE Mathematics Teacher to join our vibrant faculty.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IB Mathematics (AA HL and AI HL) and IGCSE Mathematics to students from diverse backgrounds.
• Create dynamic, engaging, and student-centered lessons aligned with IB and Cambridge curricula.
• Guide students in developing critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and IB examinations, ensuring academic success and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enrich the school’s academic programs.
• Provide regular assessments, feedback, and support to students and parents.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
• Teaching qualification desirable.
• Experience teaching IB Mathematics (AA and AI) and IGCSE Mathematics is essential.
• Familiarity with international education practices and standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
