Role Overview
The IB MYP English Teacher will teach students in the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10), focusing on language and literature. This role requires designing and delivering lessons that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills. Teachers at MBIS integrate inquiry-based learning with a global perspective, encouraging students to think critically and communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English instruction aligned with the IB MYP framework
- Design engaging lessons that foster critical thinking and creativity
- Guide students in developing strong communication and analytical skills
- Assess progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in IB or international schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching to enhance learning outcomes
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
