Role Overview: IB MYP Physics Teacher

The IB MYP Physics Teacher will deliver dynamic and concept-driven science instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). You will guide students in exploring physical phenomena through experimentation, analysis, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging physics lessons based on MYP curriculum standards
• Foster inquiry-based learning and student-led investigations
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs
• Design and implement assessments that reflect MYP criteria
• Integrate technology and lab-based learning to deepen conceptual understanding
• Collaborate with science and interdisciplinary teams to plan units

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related subject
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching Physics, preferably in an international school setting
• Familiarity with the IB MYP framework and inquiry-based science education
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
