Position: IB-PYP Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all staff members have access to IB-PYP publications and resources.
- Promote a deep understanding and effective implementation of IB-PYP documents.
- Oversee the development, review, and publication of the school’s Programme of Inquiry.
- Maintain and update IB-PYP curriculum documents, including scope and sequence planning.
- Guide teachers in unit planning, assessment strategies, and language learning policies.
- Lead discussions on academic honesty, assessment best practices, and inquiry-based learning.
- Develop and implement an action plan aligned with IB standards and practices.
- Maintain detailed records of IB-PYP planning, implementation, and exhibitions.
- Foster a collaborative and professional learning culture among teachers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IB-PYP school, preferably in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of IB-PYP curriculum, assessment, and teaching methodologies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A passion for mentoring educators and driving curriculum development.
