Role Overview
The IBDP Economics Teacher will deliver high-quality instruction in Economics, preparing students for success in the IB Diploma Programme. The role includes teaching core and optional topics, guiding students through internal assessments, and supporting them in applying economic theories to real-world issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IBDP Economics with clarity, engagement, and academic rigor.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and final examinations.
- Develop creative lesson plans that connect economic theory to global and local contexts.
- Mentor students in critical thinking, analysis, and research skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the IBDP curriculum.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB or international school.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the IBDP curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Ability to integrate technology into effective teaching practices.
