Role Overview
The IBDP/IGCSE Business Management Teacher will deliver well-structured and engaging lessons that align with IB and Cambridge curriculum standards. The teacher will help students explore topics such as business strategy, organizational planning, marketing, finance, and ethics while connecting concepts to real-world business scenarios. The position involves supporting students in Internal Assessments, coursework, and examination preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Business Management across IGCSE and IBDP levels
- Encourage students to evaluate real-life business decisions using critical thinking
- Assess progress and provide actionable feedback to improve performance
- Support student research, presentations, and case study analysis
- Contribute to curriculum planning and improvement
- Promote participation in business competitions and entrepreneurship activities
- Maintain consistent communication with parents, colleagues, and school leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification such as PGCE, B.Ed., QTS, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in international or secondary teaching
- Strong expertise in Business Management at IBDP and IGCSE levels
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools to enhance instruction
