Wells International School – On Nut Campus is seeking a dynamic and innovative ICT Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver a cutting-edge IT curriculum for primary, middle, and high school students, incorporating modern instructional technology and artificial intelligence (AI). The role involves fostering a supportive learning environment, utilizing diverse teaching strategies, and staying current with technological advancements to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Delivery: Create and teach engaging IT lessons, incorporating modern instructional technology and AI concepts, for students at various grade levels.
• Supportive Learning Environment: Cultivate an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to explore and innovate in the field of IT.
• AI Integration: Integrate AI applications and concepts into the curriculum to deepen student understanding and engagement.
• Diverse Teaching Strategies: Employ various instructional methods, including hands-on activities, project-based learning, and collaborative projects, to address diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their growth in IT skills and knowledge.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends in instructional technology and AI to continually refine teaching practices and curriculum content.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and incorporate IT concepts across different subjects.
• Professional Development: Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certification: Teaching certification/license or equivalent experience in education.
• Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching IT or computer science at the primary, middle, or high school level.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of modern instructional technology tools, platforms, and applications, as well as familiarity with AI concepts, programming languages, and applications.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs.
• Passion for Education: A commitment to fostering digital literacy and computational thinking skills in students.
• Innovative Teaching Methods: Experience with project-based learning, inquiry-based teaching methods, or experiential learning approaches is an asset.
• Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team to support student learning and school initiatives.
