Role: IGCSE Art & Design Teacher
As an IGCSE Art & Design Teacher, you will deliver the Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design curriculum to secondary students. You will create engaging lessons that develop students’ artistic skills, creativity, and design thinking. You will also encourage exploration of diverse art forms and digital technologies. Strong classroom management, effective communication, and enthusiasm for working in a diverse international setting are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art, Design, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience in IGCSE Art & Design or a similar curriculum
- Deep understanding of IGCSE Art & Design syllabus and assessment criteria
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Self-motivated and proactive in curriculum development and school initiatives
- Ability to incorporate new technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
