Role: IGCSE Biology Teacher
We are currently seeking a qualified Secondary Biology Teacher with experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE Biology syllabus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students through innovative and interactive lesson planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to secondary school students following the IGCSE framework
- Design and deliver practical lab-based lessons to enhance scientific understanding
- Prepare students for internal assessments and Cambridge IGCSE examinations
- Foster curiosity and scientific thinking among students
- Collaborate with the Science Department on curriculum planning and assessment
- Participate actively in extracurricular programs and school events
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of experience teaching secondary school students
- Familiarity with the IGCSE Biology curriculum is essential
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to curriculum development
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices
