Role Overview
The IGCSE Economics Teacher will teach Cambridge IGCSE Economics to students in upper school levels. You will develop engaging lesson plans, deliver high-quality instruction, and support learners in achieving strong academic outcomes. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and the school’s commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE Economics following Cambridge International curriculum standards
- Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical and analytical thinking
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and guide students toward academic success

- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional planning and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Economics
- Experience with international school curricula, preferably Cambridge
- Excellent classroom management and clear communication skills
- Strong subject expertise in Economics and global financial concepts
- Ability to build positive relationships within a multicultural school community
- Commitment to professional learning and continuous improvement
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
