Role: IGCSE ICT & Computer Science Teacher
As an IGCSE ICT & Computer Science Teacher at AIS, you will:
- Teach ICT and Computer Science to students in the upper primary and secondary levels
- Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE curriculum and school standards
- Guide students through practical tasks, coding challenges, and project-based learning
- Prepare students for IGCSE exams through effective instruction and targeted review strategies
- Foster digital citizenship and responsible use of technology in the learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across other subject areas
- Contribute to the wider school community through clubs, events, or interdisciplinary projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ICT Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience teaching ICT or Computer Science, preferably at IGCSE level
- Strong content knowledge and a passion for student success
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Commitment to continuous professional development and cultural adaptability
