Role: Inclusion Teacher (Upper Prep School)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) to support students with diverse educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Use differentiated instruction techniques to ensure students stay engaged and progress effectively.
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students requiring additional assistance.
- Stay updated on best practices in special education and inclusion strategies.
- Promote a positive and nurturing classroom culture that encourages student confidence and success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as an Inclusion Teacher in a British curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and special education strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
- A passion for creating a student-centered, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
