This school is based in Bratislava, Slovakia and is looking for an IT Coordinator
The QSI International School of Bratislava (QSIB) is an independent, coeducational day school, which offers an educational program from age 2 1/2 (early childhood program) through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. The School was founded in 1994. The school year is divided into 3 terms extending from late August to mid-December, from early January to late March, and from early April to mid-June. Students receive Status Reports (report cards) 5 times during the school year.
The School is governed by the Board of Directors and Bylaws of Quality Schools International, a consortium of over 37 schools in Europe, Asia, South America Africa, and the Middle East. An Advisory Board, composed of 6 to 10 members who reside in Bratislava, assists the School in its operation. The School operates with the approval of the Slovakian Ministry of Education.
Curriculum: The School offers a mastery educational program with a curriculum similar to that of U.S. public and private schools as well as competitive international schools. Instruction is in English. The School believes that all students can be successful. In addition to a rigorous academic program, the curriculum includes physical education, art, music, technology, and drama. German, Slovak, Spanish, Korean and French are taught as foreign languages. Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma are available for secondary school students. In addition, the School seeks to provide students with an appreciation of the rich culture and history of Slovakia. Extracurricular activities are offered for students of all ages, including an interscholastic sports program for students ages 11-18. The School participates in the cultural, sports, and professional development activities of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association and the Danube Valley Athletic Conference. The School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), and the College Board for the Advanced Placement (AP) program. QSIB is recognized by the Slovakian Ministry of Education and is an official SAT and College Board Test Center.
