Role Overview
The Kindergarten Teacher will play a central role in shaping the academic and social foundation of young learners. The teacher will design engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that encourage curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth. This role requires a balance of academic instruction, play-based learning, and individualized support to help children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and age-appropriate kindergarten lessons
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support the holistic development of each child, including social and emotional growth
- Incorporate play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches
- Communicate regularly with parents to support student progress and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives
- Integrate technology to enhance early childhood learning experiences
- Participate in professional development and school community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in kindergarten or early years
- Familiarity with international curricula and child-centered teaching methods
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse international community
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation in teaching
