Role Overview: Kindergarten Teacher (IEYC)
As a Kindergarten Teacher at OFS, you will deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the IEYC framework. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children explore, discover, and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver hands-on, play-based learning experiences that reflect IEYC themes
- Promote literacy, numeracy, and inquiry through creative activities
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction based on individual learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support holistic development
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity
- Participate in professional development to refine instructional practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in early years settings
- Experience with IEYC or similar international early years frameworks
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Proficiency in using educational technology to support learning
