Role: Librarian

The successful candidate will manage the school library and collaborate with teachers to support curriculum delivery. The librarian will promote reading for pleasure and academic success through organized systems and engaging literacy activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize all library resources, including physical and digital collections.
• Support teachers and students with access to age-appropriate reading and research materials.
• Plan reading programs and library events to foster a love for reading.
• Manage borrowing systems, cataloguing, and book inventories.
• Guide students in research techniques and responsible information use.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a school library or similar role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for student engagement, reading culture, and school-wide collaboration.
