Role: Lower Elementary Homeroom Teacher

The Lower Elementary Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for providing a supportive and engaging classroom environment for young learners. The teacher will foster a student-centered atmosphere that encourages academic curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. In this role, the teacher will work closely with students to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for future educational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a comprehensive curriculum in core subjects including English, Math, Science, and Social Studies for lower elementary students.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Foster the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in lower elementary education.
• Pre-AP, AP, or IB Certification preferred.
• A passion for creating an inclusive, engaging, and student-focused learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
