Role Responsibilities

The selected Lower Primary Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
• Apply active learning strategies that promote exploration and critical thinking.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and independent learning.
• Track student progress through continuous assessment and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Use multimedia and technology tools to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Partner with parents to communicate student development and support individual learning needs.
• Work closely with colleagues to align curriculum objectives and develop innovative teaching practices.
• Support the emotional and social development of students through consistent guidance and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of teaching experience at the primary level
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Primary Science Framework
• Excellent classroom management and communication abilities
• Experience working in diverse, multicultural school settings
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
