This school is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and is looking for a Math Teacher (IB/IGCSE)

SINARMAS WORLD ACADEMY (SWA) provides an international education experience from Toddler to Grade 12, that aims to achieve Academic Excellence. SWA opened in July 2008 and the first cohort of Grade 12 students graduated in June 2012. SWA prepares each student for a lifetime of academic success through the development of adaptable 21st century approaches to learning.

SWA offers an engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum from the UK that develops students physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. Starting from Kindergarten 2 to Grade 5, SWA incorporates the Cambridge Curriculum within a framework that promotes an inquiry-based approach to learning. SWA has built exclusive partnerships and exchange programmes with Peking University Elementary School and other institutions in Korea and Japan.

In Grades 6 to 10, SWA integrates the curriculum content from Cambridge Assessment International Educations (CAIE) within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)  framework, according to national requirements and to the school’s Asian cultural identity.

Requirements:

• Candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university.

• A Master’s Degree in a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of working experience as MSHS Mathematics Teacher, preferably in IB and IGCSE curriculum.
• Have experience working in School with Cambridge, IB Curriculum & IGCSE Teaching credentials and have good planning teaching & class management

• Must be fluent in English (speaking and writing)

• Adaptable and open to new cultures and experiences
• Enthusiastic, tactful, patient
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Location BSD City (40 minutes from Central Jakarta)
