Job description:
• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that inspire independent thought and analysis.
• Develop and enhance departmental schemes of work and assessment policies.
• Contribute to curriculum innovation and the organization of departmental resources.
• Regularly set, mark, and evaluate work, adhering to departmental policies.
• Monitor student progress through consistent record-keeping and reporting.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide support for students with special educational needs.
• Attend departmental, staff, and parent meetings as required.
• Actively participate in school events, assemblies, and professional development initiatives.
• Support the broader aims of the school through contributions to extracurricular activities.
• Foster an environment of respect, good behaviour, and academic focus.
• Enforce school policies on conduct, dress, and classroom standards.
• Stay current with subject knowledge and curriculum advancements.
• Engage in school-provided training and continuous self-improvement.

Candidate requirements:
• PGCE.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Relevant teaching degree to teach Maths.
• Two years of experience as a Teacher within a school or other educational environment.
• Written and verbal fluency in English.
• Experience of preparing and delivering presentations or training to others.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, affording confidence in leading the delivery of the curriculum or syllabi.
• Highly-developed relationship-building skills, promoting effective communication and collaboration with all and securing others’ commitment.
• Ability to remain calm and pragmatic in the face of significant challenge, demonstrating an ability to assess and prioritize quickly, providing clear direction to others.
