Role: Middle School English Teacher

As a Middle School English Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students’ literacy skills, fostering a love for reading and writing, and preparing them for future academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
• Teach literature, composition, grammar, and vocabulary, promoting strong reading and writing skills.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages discussion, collaboration, and analytical thinking.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents to share student progress and academic goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in middle school English.
• Pre-AP, AP, or IB Certification preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for educational excellence and continuous professional growth.
