Role: Middle School General Science Teacher

As an MS General Science Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement an engaging and inquiry-based science curriculum aligned with the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
• Teach biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science concepts through hands-on experiments and interactive lessons.
• Inspire students to ask questions, analyze data, and think critically about the world around them.
• Incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles into daily instruction.
• Use technology and digital tools to enhance learning and scientific exploration.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and discovery.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects into the curriculum.
• Support extracurricular activities such as science fairs, robotics clubs, or environmental initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
• Valid teaching licensure or certification
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Middle Years Programme (MYP) experience preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• International teaching experience (preferred)
• A passion for hands-on, inquiry-based science education
• Cultural sensitivity and openness to diverse perspectives
• Proficiency in technology and digital learning tools
