Role: Middle School Math Teacher
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons that align with the American Curriculum. The role requires an educator who can create a positive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and encourages a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver interactive Middle School Math lessons that align with the Common Core Standards and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Implement the Principles of Islamic Pedagogy to support students’ academic and spiritual growth.
- Foster a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, and engage in discussions.
- Use differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Assess student performance effectively, providing timely feedback to promote progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design creative learning materials and improve curriculum delivery.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, supporting student engagement beyond the classroom.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Mathematics-related field. A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Middle School Math in an American curriculum school or similar inquiry-based education system.
- Strong understanding of Common Core, PYP, MYP, or other outcome-based frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in implementing engaging teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student well-being.
