Chinese Teacher of IB MYP/DP (Secondary School Stage)

This school is based in Shenzhen, China and is looking for a Chinese Teacher of IB MYP/DP (Secondary School Stage)

Job requirements:

• Master’s degree or above (overseas study experience is preferred), education, subject, teacher training and other related majors are preferred;
  
• Possess a secondary school (junior high school or high school) teacher qualification certificate;
  
• More than 2 years of teaching experience in international schools and IB course teaching experience are preferred;
  
• Have good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, be proficient in using English as a working language, and have the ability to teach bilingually;
  
• Can be student-centered and encourage students to ask more questions and think more;
  
• Fully prepare lessons in strict accordance with the course requirements, complete the teaching tasks of the course according to the teaching plan, and achieve the teaching goals;
  
• Good at organizing rich teaching content and implementing teaching and assessment in an appropriate way;
  
• Actively participate in projects and activities related to teachers’ professional development, such as listening to lectures and evaluating lectures;
  
• Have a good spirit of cooperation and contribute to interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation;
  
• Actively participate in various team building activities organized by the school and actively put forward constructive opinions and suggestions for the development of the school and disciplines; conduct periodic assessments of students’ academic level and learning potential.
