Lycée Français Victor Hugo in Frankfurt is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified French Teacher to join our team. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality French language instruction to students, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the French language and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging French language lessons that align with curriculum standards.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate actively.
• Develop instructional materials, assessments, and activities that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their language acquisition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices across grade levels.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in French Language, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification in French Language.
• Previous experience teaching French language at the secondary level is preferred.
• Native or near-native proficiency in French.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in German is desired but not required.
