Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Polish language lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels and learning needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in Polish.
• Integrate cultural elements and real-life contexts into lessons to enhance students’ understanding and appreciation of the Polish language and culture.
• Assess student progress using a variety of assessment tools and provide timely feedback to support growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align Polish language instruction with the school’s curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) standards.
• Participate actively in school community events and contribute to the promotion of Polish language and culture within the school community.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in language teaching and learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Polish Language, or related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Passion for teaching Polish language and culture to students of diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to the school’s and IBO’s philosophies and values.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) or Diploma Programme (DP) preferred.
