Carlucci American International School of Lisbon is seeking a dynamic and qualified Licensed Teacher of Lingua Portuguesa (Native Language) and French (for Foreigners) to join our vibrant educational community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality instruction in Lingua Portuguesa (Portuguese Language) and French language courses for students.
• Create engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and proficiency levels of students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to communicate effectively in Portuguese and French.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance language learning experiences.
• Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align language instruction with school curriculum standards and objectives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay abreast of best practices in language education.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to promote student success and academic achievement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Portuguese Language, French Language, or related field.
• Teaching license or certification in Portuguese Language and French Language.
• Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Proficiency in basic office applications such as MS Office suite.
• Previous teaching experience in Lingua Portuguesa and French preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
