This school is based in Dakar, Senegal and is looking for a Music Teacher (IB MYP)

JOB OVERVIEW
The MYP Music Teacher teaches music theory, performance, and appreciation, helping students explore various musical genres, instruments, and composition techniques. This role supports students in developing creativity, musical skills, and an understanding of music’s role in cultural expression. The Music teacher’s extracurricular duty is to lead the music academy and/or the community choir.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Teaching Certificate with strong knowledge of MYP/DP curriculum.
3. At least three years of experience with IB programs, demonstrating a commitment to the IB mission and ISD’s Values.
4. The capacity to offer another subject is an asset
5. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to fostering a multicultural, inclusive learning environment.
6. Passionate about Global Citizenship Education and Student Leadership.
