This school is based in Batam, Indonesia and is looking for a Music Teacher (Primary)

Sekolah Global Indo-Asia (SGIA) was founded in 1998 to serve the educational needs of the children of the national and international community living in and around Batam, Indonesia.

Today, SGIA accepts students from Pre-School through the 12th Grade. It is a caring, secure environment in which students can develop their skills, confidence and creativity that will help them succeed academically. SGIA is the only International Baccalaureate World School in Batam offering the PYP (Primary Years Programme), DP (Diploma Programme) and authorized as a Cambridge International Examinations School.

General Requirements:

• Has a Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Music.
• Minimum of 1-5 years teaching experience.
• International teaching experience is beneficial. 
• PYP trained is an advantage. 
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Has proven experience of raising the standards across all areas of learning within the primary curriculum
• Able to work collaboratively to inspire, enthuse and motivate others.
• Is able to establish and develop good relationships with all members of the wider school community.
