Role: Music Teacher

The ideal candidate will develop a high-quality music curriculum while fostering a love for music among students. This role requires a passionate educator who can engage students through interactive lessons, performances, and creative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach music to assigned year groups, ensuring engaging and high-quality lessons.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Plan and implement strategies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate school music events, concerts, and performances.
• Foster confidence and enthusiasm for music among students, staff, and parents.
• Utilize technology to enhance music education and student engagement.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• Collaborate with other music professionals and participate in relevant training sessions.
• Organize and promote curriculum events and extracurricular activities.
• Actively contribute to whole-school events and student development programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• 3 – 5 years of experience teaching music at an international or British curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of the Music National Curriculum for England.
• Ability to play at least one musical instrument proficiently.
• Passion for creative and integrated music education.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including SEN and EAL learners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative teaching approach.
• Strong ICT skills to enhance music instruction and student engagement.
