Supply School Nurse

This school is based in Aberdeen, Hong Kong and is looking for a Supply School Nurse.

Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) is currently looking for Supply School Nurses to cover daily school nurse absences.

A school nurse is responsible for providing first aid to all students, staff and parents/visitors; maintaining school medical supplies and student health records; liaising with relevant government health and education departments regarding health programs, immunization, and relevant health concerns; giving advice and support to all staff with regard to health and safety issues in the School; and working as a member of a team to ensure the timely resolution of general CDNIS requirements, in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Nursing or a Nursing diploma.
• CPR and First Aid Certificates.
• Experience in emergency care nursing including seizure management, medical responses to anaphylactic reaction, treatment of sprains and fractures.
• Training with AED (Automated External Defibrillator), use of an epi-pen, etc.
• Knowledge of appropriate medical manuals such as MMS (Medicine Information Manual) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
