Role Overview: Physical Education Teacher
As the Physical Education Teacher, you will lead engaging PE classes that support physical literacy, health education, and lifelong fitness habits. This position plays a key role in encouraging teamwork, self-discipline, and a positive mindset through sport and movement-based activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons across grade levels
- Promote physical well-being through structured games, sports, and fitness routines
- Encourage positive sportsmanship, inclusion, and collaboration among students
- Organize extracurricular athletics programs, school sports events, and wellness initiatives
- Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback
- Maintain a safe and energetic learning environment
- Collaborate with other faculty on integrated curriculum planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching PE in a school setting
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Passion for student wellness and holistic education
- Comfort with using technology to support teaching and student engagement
