Role: Primary English Teacher

As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the ICSE/IGCSE curriculum. Your role will focus on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. You will foster a positive classroom environment where students can build confidence and develop a love for the English language.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons that meet curriculum standards
• Monitor and assess student progress through projects, assignments, and assessments
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and active participation in class
• Support students’ individual learning needs through differentiated instruction
• Collaborate with teaching colleagues and participate in curriculum development
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress
• Promote classroom management practices that support a respectful learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting
• Experience with ICSE/IGCSE curriculum preferred
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Passion for international education and student-centered teaching
• Willingness to integrate technology to enhance learning outcomes
