Role Overview: Primary Mathematics Teacher
As a Primary Mathematics Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics curriculum. Your instruction will help students build foundational numeracy skills, develop logical reasoning, and gain confidence in problem-solving. You will also contribute to a supportive learning environment that nurtures academic growth and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement lessons that align with Cambridge Mathematics standards
- Deliver hands-on, interactive lessons that develop mathematical fluency
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress
- Provide individualized support based on student learning needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff on cross-curricular planning and innovation
- Contribute to co-curricular programmes and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics
- Teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience teaching primary mathematics
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum or other international programmes
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
