Role: Primary Music Teacher
The successful candidate will lead music instruction across the Primary School, nurturing students’ musical talents through engaging lessons, performances, and extracurricular programs. You will foster a love of music and help students develop technical skills, musical appreciation, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and structured music lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Teach music theory, singing, and instrument basics to young learners
- Organize and lead school concerts, performances, and music-related events
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the wider curriculum
- Use digital tools to enhance music education and student engagement
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2–3 years of teaching experience in Primary School settings
- Strong command of music pedagogy and curriculum planning
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with young learners
- Passion for contributing to the school’s co-curricular and character-building programs
