Welcome to our newly branded Finnway International School Phuket, formally Rainbow Trout International Kindergarten Phuket, now including Kindergarten and Primary levels from Pre-K to G6. What you will do:
• Create and deliver engaging and effective learning activities that meet the needs of all learners, aligned with Finnish Approaches to Learning and international best practices.
• Provide differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum, share best practices, and ensure a consistent learning experience for all students.
• Utilize a variety of engaging teaching methods and resources to promote student engagement and achievement, incorporating technology effectively where appropriate.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and provide ongoing feedback to support academic growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child’s progress and collaborate on learning strategies.
• Play a lead role in nurturing the social and emotional development of young students.
• Contribute to the professional learning community by participating in professional development opportunities and sharing best practices with colleagues.

What We Are Looking For:
• A qualified teacher’s license or certification and prior experience teaching Kindergarten or Primary students (2+ years preferred).
• A strong understanding of the Finnish Approaches to Learning or a compatible international curriculum, with a solid foundation in core subjects like literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• A passion for early childhood educationor primary education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
• The ability to create a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive learning environmentthat caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with fluency in English is
• The ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources to promote student engagement and their skills for the future.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported.

Experience working in an international school (preferred).
