Role Overview: Primary Teacher
The Primary Teacher will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the Western Australian curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being
- Integrate technology and interactive teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes
- Foster a culture of inquiry, collaboration, and growth mindset in the classroom
- Maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and school leaders
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area
- Valid teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary setting
- Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Effective classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching in an international school environment
- Ability to plan, reflect, and adapt to meet student needs
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies
