Responsibilities

• Teaching a class of up to 22 first to sixth grade students
• Daily lesson planning in coordination with approved curriculum
• 40 hours/week minimum at school site
• Regular interaction with parents to ensure that all student needs are met

Qualifications

• BA or advanced degree in education (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching primary grades at established educational institution
• Ministry certification or equivalent credentials
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience in bilingual education, differentiation, and backwards design planning
• Interest in and/or experience practicing constructivist pedagogy
• Love of children and the outdoors
