Mehmet Akif College in Gjakova, Kosovo, is seeking a dedicated and passionate MAC Teacher to join our dynamic team. The MAC Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality education, fostering student development, and contributing to the overall mission and vision of the college.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance the learning experience.
• Student Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Design and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and report progress to parents and administration.
• Classroom Management:
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and engagement.
  • Address and resolve any behavioral issues in a fair and consistent manner.
• Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and improve teaching methods.
  • Engage in reflective practices to continually improve personal teaching effectiveness.
• Community Engagement:
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Teaching certification or license preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
