Capital School Bahrain follows the British National Curriculum and provides a high-quality education from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Secondary School. The school incorporates Bahrain’s Ministry of Education guidelines for Arabic and Islamic Studies while maintaining its British curriculum standards.

Established in 2015, Capital School experienced rapid growth, leading to a relocation in 2022 to a modern campus in Bu Quwah. With three separate school buildings, the institution now accommodates students from pre-primary to secondary levels and continues to expand its academic offerings.

Role: Primary Teacher (KS1 & KS2)

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of students in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a broad and balanced curriculum following the British National Curriculum for KS1 & KS2.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and develop their skills.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to support positive behavior and learning outcomes.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance classroom engagement.
  • Encourage the development of critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning skills among students.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes the welfare and well-being of all children.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
  • Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stages 1 and 2 within a British curriculum school (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of child development and primary education principles.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a proactive approach to behavior management.
  • Passionate about education, student development, and fostering a love for learning.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
