Position: Psychology Teacher

As a Psychology Teacher at AMSI, you will play a key role in guiding students through the fascinating world of human behavior, cognition, and mental processes. You will help them develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of psychology’s real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Psychology classes using an engaging and student-centered approach.
• Develop interactive lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and track student progress through assignments, exams, and reports.
• Guide students on academic and career-related aspects of psychology.
• Encourage open discussions on mental health, cognitive processes, and behavior analysis.
• Use modern teaching techniques, including case studies and research-based projects.
• Work closely with students, parents, and school staff to foster a positive learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in psychology education.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, Master’s in Education, or equivalent certification).
• Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary or higher education level.
• Strong knowledge of developmental psychology, research methods, and mental health topics.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Familiarity with UAE teacher certification requirements (TELS UAE) is preferred.
